Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Vitrum Games ("Vitrum Games", "we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with the mobile games and applications we publish (collectively, the "Games" or the "Services"). This single policy applies to all of our Games unless a specific Game provides its own policy.

By using our Games, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

We do not require you to create an account or to provide personal information such as your name to play our Games.

a) Information stored on your device

Your game progress, settings, and preferences are stored locally on your device.

b) Information collected automatically

When you use our Games, certain information may be collected automatically, including:

  • Device information (device model, operating system version, language, region).
  • Advertising and device identifiers (such as the advertising ID / IDFA / GAID).
  • Usage and interaction data (levels played, features used, session length, and similar analytics).
  • Diagnostic data (crash logs and performance data).

This information is used to operate, secure, analyze, and improve the Games and to display advertising as described below.

2. Advertising

Our Games are free to play and may display advertising provided by third-party ad networks, including Google AdMob. To select and deliver ads and to measure their performance, these partners may collect and process device identifiers (such as the advertising ID) and app usage/interaction data.

This processing is carried out by the ad partners. For Google, please see:

  • How Google uses data: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
  • Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

You can reset your advertising identifier or limit ad personalization at any time in your device settings (for example, iOS: Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking / Apple Advertising; Android: Settings › Privacy › Ads). Where a Game does not request tracking permission, ads are not used to track you across other companies' apps or websites.

3. In-App Purchases

Some Games offer optional in-app purchases (for example, removing ads). Purchases are processed by the platform's store (Apple App Store or Google Play). We do not receive or store your payment card details. Your ability to make purchases is governed by the store's terms and privacy policy.

4. Analytics

We may use analytics and crash-reporting tools to understand how our Games are used and to fix problems. These tools may process device and usage data in aggregated or pseudonymized form.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

  • Service providers (such as ad networks, analytics, and hosting providers) that process data on our behalf.
  • Legal and safety purposes, if required by law or to protect our rights.
  • A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

6. Children

Our Games are intended for a general audience and are family-friendly. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law (such as COPPA or GDPR). Where required, advertising shown to children is limited to non-personalized ads. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

7. Data Retention and Security

Game progress is stored on your device and is removed when you uninstall the Game. Data processed by our service providers is retained in accordance with their policies. We take reasonable measures to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

8. Messages You Send Us

When you write to us through the contact form on vitrumgames.com, we keep what you typed: your name, your email address, the topic you chose, the subject line and the message itself. We keep it so we can reply and so a conversation is not lost between us.

We do not record your IP address or your browser details with it. The message is also emailed to us, so a copy exists in our mailbox in the ordinary way.

We keep messages for as long as they are useful for the conversation they belong to, and no longer than two years. Ask us at any time and we will delete yours sooner.

9. Visitor Statistics on vitrumgames.com

We count visits to this website, and a few clicks on it, so we know which pages are read and how people find us. The clicks we count are on the Steam wishlist buttons, the trailer, store and Discord links, links to our social accounts, the language menu, and the mailing-list and contact forms.

For each page view or counted click we keep: the date and time; the page; its language; whether the device is a phone, a tablet or a computer; the browser and operating-system family (for example "Chrome" and "Android"); the name of the website that linked to us (only its domain, such as google.com) or the campaign tags in the link you followed; and, only if you allow it, the country.

To count visitors rather than page views, our server combines your IP address and your browser’s user-agent string with a random value that changes every day, and keeps only a short part of the result. The day’s random value is deleted when the day ends; after that the result cannot be linked to you, or to your visits on other days. Your IP address and user-agent string are never stored. There is no cookie and no identifier on your device, and no other company receives any of this. The statistics are kept for 25 months and then deleted.

The country is worked out on our own server from the connection your browser makes, against a table of publicly published address ranges that is built into this website. Your IP address is not stored and is not sent to any other company to be looked up.

You are asked once, when you first arrive. You may accept, or choose which of the two you allow — and choosing neither means nothing is counted at all. Your answer is kept in your browser’s local storage rather than in a cookie, and never leaves your device; clearing your browsing data clears it and we will ask again. If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal we neither ask nor count.

10. Game News by Email

If you sign up on a game's page on vitrumgames.com (for example, First Layer) to hear about its demo or its release, we keep your email address, the language of the page, the sentence you agreed to, and when you signed up and confirmed. We use them only to send you news about that game: its demo, its release and major updates.

Nothing is sent to you until you confirm. We email you a link, and your address joins the list only once you click it. An address that is not confirmed within two weeks is deleted.

We do not record your IP address or your browser details. Every email we send you has a link to leave the list, and leaving deletes your address. You can also ask us to remove it at any time. If we use an email delivery service to send an announcement, it processes your address only to deliver that email on our behalf.

11. Videos on vitrumgames.com

Some pages show a trailer hosted on YouTube. Nothing is loaded from YouTube until you press play. When you do, the video is loaded from YouTube (youtube-nocookie.com), a service of Google, which then processes information such as your IP address under its own privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.

12. Your Rights

Depending on your region (for example, under GDPR or CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. You can also reset your advertising identifier or limit ad tracking in your device settings.

13. International Transfers

Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, appropriate safeguards are used for such transfers.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when the updated policy is posted, and the "Last updated" date above will be revised.
